A Várkert Bazár a kitűnő építész, Ybl Miklós tervei alapján épült 1875 és 1883 között, neoreneszánsz stílusban. A homlokzati sgraffitók (többrétegű díszítés) Than Mór és Scholz Róbert, a szobrok Fessler Leó, Huszár Adolf, Schföfl Armin, a kerámiák Zsolnay Vilmos, a díszes vasrácsok pedig Jungfer Gyula munkáját dicsérik. Having been renovated the Royal Garden Pavilion opened in April 2014, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the birth of the architect. Now it is a perfect scene for leisure, entertainment and cultural events. It belongs to world heritage under UNESCO. |
